Last Friday was our church’s teen-hosted Valentine Banquet – “A Love That Shines”, complete with the red carpet, a vintage glam best-dressed competition, and a first: a real-live marriage proposal! We invited my mother-in-law to join us for the fun this year, and Malachi was her dashing little date 🙂 I love dressing accordingly for themed events, so my mother-in-law and I went all out with our outfits and had a blast! Malachi gave his Grammy and Miss Kayla roses for Valentine’s Day 🙂 Somebody sweetly surprised me with chocolate covered strawberries at the banquet since I could not eat much of the planned dessert!She said yes 🙂
