This song was born during a difficult season in my life. In 2019, my dad passed away unexpectedly, leaving a large ministry behind. As my husband and I began to take on new roles of leadership, I was also dealing with complications from prior surgeries, which led to frequent hospitalizations and ultimately more surgery. There was little time to properly grieve and process the loss of my dad as I struggled to stay on my feet while raising four small children and maintain ministry responsibilities. Toward the end of that year, the Lord gave me two words: impossible grace. Through His Word, He reminded me that His grace is unique and available. In the early months of 2020, I finished writing the words to a melody that became a song for our time.
