Ruthie Bianchi Says...

We all travel the same journey as Christians of trials and joys, of victories and defeat. It doesn’t matter how it is packaged or to what degree we experience them. They are all significant and we all can relate.

Through the gift of song Lois and India share with you their journey and as they do, we can relate. They bear their souls to us through the harmony of their voices and the words of experience walking with their Savior. For you see, the songs are not some vain repetitions with fleshy appeal but real truths that speak to the soul.

I have witnessed the effect of this on my own life and of those in our church. One young lady said before she sang, “This song ‘Where Faith Begins’ resonates with me a lot. I was told all my life to always have faith, but I never truly understood what that meant, to actually have faith, until I faced hurdles of worldly pleasures. When you grow up Christian you can lose the spark over the years, and everything becomes a routine. Church became boring to me over time. I used to dread mornings on Sundays. Satan offered me worldly pleasures and I took them. It was by God’s grace that I am alive physically and spiritually today. I pray that through this song many will understand that it is OK to face hardships because by God’s help He gives us the faith to push on in a world of darkness.’ Romans 10:17 – “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Another older lady who is a faithful soul winner sang “My Heart is There”. As she waits on the Lord’s direction for missions this song put words to her yearning heart’s desire. My heart was touched listening to this because I saw how the Lord uses us and our gifts to minister one to another. On our journey God exhorts us to encourage, edify, comfort one another with how He does that for us. And that is what Lois and India’s music does. I am blessed to know them and see their walk and talk are in harmony, not just their angelic voices. I pray you won’t forsake your own mercies and listen for yourselves. You will be blessed!
